Bodhgaya Enlightenment Marathon

Bodhgaya Enlightenment Marathon is a unique spiritual product conceived and developed by Buddhist This spiritual marathon is connects all important Buddhist sites in Bodh Gaya – the place where the Buddha became enlightenment, offering runners a whole new pilgrimage experience. The marathon begins from Gandhi Maidan and moves toward Dhungeshwar Caves after crossing the Niranjana River. From Dhungeshwar Caves, the marathon track crosses a branch of Niranjana River and reaches Sujata Village where the Buddha was offered rice pudding. From there, the race track goes toward the Maha Bodhi Temple going through numerous Buddhist temples, meditation centers, monasteries, monuments etc. The marathon concludes at Mahabodhi Temple premises.
